What next, after reading the Getting Started with Mini vMac page :

The System 6.0.8 installer disk used in the Getting Started page is not intended to be used as your normal boot disk. Instead you should run the installer to install the system software on a blank disk. You can get a new blank disk image from the “Blanks” archive. (You will need the second installer disk for this, “System Additions”, which is contained in “SSW_6.0.8-1.4MB_Disk2of2.sea.bin”.)

Other system versions are also available from Apple’s older software page. Anything there up to 7.5.5 works on a Macintosh Plus, and in Mini vMac.

The Software page has links to many currently available programs that work on a Macintosh Plus. To use this software in Mini vMac, you will first need to get it into a disk image. The Disk Image page describes how to do this.

You can continue reading the rest of the Mini vMac documentation, from the links at left, for more details about using the program.
