Feedback

You can use the contact form on my personal web site to send a message directly to me.

(Checking the FAQ first may save time.)

Or, you can use the SourceForge Trackers and Forums. The Trackers and Forums are available on the SourceForge Summary page, and are also listed here with more detailed descriptions:

Proofreading - Report typos, broken links, and other corrections in the documentation and the Mini vMac website generally.

Bug Reports - For any bugs in the latest version (If a program doesn't work within Mini vMac, this is not a bug unless it works on a real Macintosh Plus. Unless it causes Mini vMac, not just the emulated machine, to crash - that is always a bug.)

Glitches Forum - For reporting irreproducible problems. Use this if Mini vMac doesn't do what you expect, and it doesn't do the same thing when you try it again, and you may not be sure it was from a bug in Mini vMac, or some random glitch caused by other software or hardware problems. Give as much information as you can, such as what operating system you're using, what version of Mini vMac, and what you were doing at the time. If I see a pattern in the reports, it could help me to know where to look for a bug.

Feature Requests - Any change that you would like made to Mini vMac which isn't a bug fix.

Support Requests - Use this if Mini vMac doesn't do what you expect, and you're not sure whether it is a bug, a missing feature, or unclear documentation.

Patches - Send code you have written that fixes a bug or implements a feature you want included in Mini vMac.

Localization Forum - For coordinating the translation of the user interface of Mini vMac into other languages. You can volunteer to do a translation for a language, post a translation you have done, or comment on a translation. The Localization page shows the current state of translations.

Open Discussion Forum - If you have a comment that doesn't fit in the above categories.

Anonymous posts are currently allowed. (SourceForge discourages it, but it is fine by me, for now.) For the Trackers, just fill in the Summary and the Detailed Description fields, and then click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. For the Forums, fill in the Subject and the Message fields near the bottom of the page, and then click the Post Comment button.
